An Expanding Universe

If the above is true, do I live in infinity?

I have always wondered this. Is the night sky beyond... farther than what man can comprehend?

A void so vast, a night so dark, a space so distant, that science can't hope to measure it. Such realms of thought often prove ruinous. So incomprehensible that madness beckons, that the straight jackets come close, and the white coats grow near. Not for me though, at least not yet. For I can contain such ideas, at least for now.

The stars are far, but the light is near. Having traveled for eons, they've arrived at my doorstep. My little earth, an angelic realm of violence and strife. The naughty and nice. Taking a look, the heavens paint their cosmic rays across the soil. Striking photons across dirt in an act of rest.

Where will I sleep? What of my atoms? Where will I go?

Science may never know.
