Why Is The Pen Mightier Than The Sword?

Because the pen, commands.

Within every organization, policies are written, doctrines are crafted, mandates are created, and orders are executed. Without the written word, the sword is useless. For its power is deemed null and void without clear direction.

A battleship is only as good as the leadership which commands it. A bank only remains solvent through the advent of sound, and strategically competent decision making.

The pen also holds the ability to pass down ideas through time.

By binding knowledge to parchment, insights, theories, and experiences can be reviewed over generations. Building a foundation for the further development of a nation's scientific endeavors, cultural influences, political machinations, medical doctrine, and religious tenets, among other such societal advancements.

The pen holds history, commands the current day, and outlines frameworks for future events.
