A Writers Fate

As a writer, it is imperative to understand that you do not write for the current day, but for the days beyond your years. Through the might of the pen, writers hold a singular ability. The power to immortalize others.

Dedications, forewords, acknowledgments, or through the act of characterization itself, writers seize the day. Freezing memories into the fabric of time. As every time a book, an essay, or a poem is produced, that writer holds within it the perspective of an era.

From Franz Kafka to Johann von Goethe, a writer not only seals away their image, but more importantly, their mind. The vessel of creation from which all ideals spring.

To write, is to immortalize.
